To clean your Black Mat PRO, we recommend using Manduka Mat Renew or a non-solvent household cleaner with a damp cloth or sponge. Hang it to dry in the sunshine to maintain its quality. Do not put your mat in the washing machine as it may damage both the machine and the mat.

To store your mat, roll it with the top side (fabric-finish) facing outwards to keep the corners flat during practice. The surface texture of the Black Mat PRO improves with use, with daily use being the best way to break it in. You can also try sprinkling coarse sea salt over the mat, scrubbing it with a sponge, and air-drying it in the sunshine for optimum results.
